General Terms and Conditions
Last updated: March 2026
1. Scope
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all services offered through the website swiss-trt.ch. Swiss TRT is a brand of SANERXPERTS GmbH, Steinackerstrasse 13, 8645 Rapperswil-Jona, Switzerland (hereinafter "we" or "Swiss TRT").
By using the website and our services, you accept these GTC. Deviating conditions require our express written consent.
2. Scope of Services
Swiss TRT provides telemedicine consultations with licensed Swiss specialists in the field of men's health, particularly the diagnosis and treatment of testosterone deficiency (hypogonadism).
We are a mediation platform and not a healthcare provider in the medical sense. Medical responsibility lies exclusively with the treating doctors. We do not guarantee the success of any treatment.
Our services include:
- Provision of an online self-test (AMS questionnaire) for self-assessment
- Receipt and forwarding of the medical history form to a suitable specialist
- Arrangement and coordination of the telemedicine initial consultation
- Coordination of follow-up appointments and blood value checks
3. Requirements for Use
Use of our services requires:
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Residence in Switzerland
- Truthful and complete information in the medical history form
- Willingness to carry out doctor-ordered lab tests
False or incomplete information may lead to exclusion from treatment. You are responsible for the accuracy of your information.
4. No Self-Test = No Diagnosis
The AMS self-test (Aging Males' Symptoms) offered on our website is exclusively for self-assessment and does not constitute a medical diagnosis. The result of the self-test does not establish a right to treatment or a medical recommendation.
5. Prices and Payment
All prices are in Swiss Francs (CHF) including statutory VAT. Current prices are available on the website under "Treatment & Costs".
The following costs are not included in our fees:
- Lab tests (blood draw and analysis)
- Prescribed medications
- Any further doctor-ordered examinations
Payment is due before the respective consultation. Accepted payment methods are shown at booking.
6. No Right to Treatment
Completing the medical history form or taking the online self-test does not establish a right to treatment or prescription. The decision on therapy is exclusively made by the treating specialist based on medical indication and applicable guidelines.
Testosterone replacement therapy is only initiated with a confirmed deficiency (at least two low testosterone measurements on different days) and corresponding clinical symptoms.
7. Follow-up Requirement and Prescription Prerequisite
Regular follow-up monitoring is medically mandatory and a prerequisite for continuing therapy and issuing follow-up prescriptions.
The treating doctor is obligated to exercise due diligence under the Swiss Medical Professions Act (MedBG, Art. 26). Without current blood values, the safety of the therapy cannot be assessed. In particular, the hematocrit value must be regularly monitored, as an uncontrolled increase above 54% poses a serious health risk.
No Follow-up = No New Prescription. If a patient misses the scheduled follow-up or does not submit current blood values, no follow-up prescription will be issued. This regulation serves the protection of the patient and follows the guidelines of the Endocrine Society (2018), the European Association of Urology (2024), and the American Urological Association (2024).
Follow-up intervals are typically every 3 months during the first two treatment years and every 6 months from the third treatment year, provided all values are stable.
8. Communication and Additional Consultations
One brief inquiry via email (less than 5 minutes of doctor time) per regular follow-up interval is included at no extra cost.
For more extensive medical assessments outside the regular follow-up, an additional consultation fee of CHF 50 applies.
Swiss TRT is not an emergency service. For acute health problems, contact your GP or emergency services (Tel. 144).
9. Termination of Treatment
The treatment relationship may be terminated by either party at any time.
The treatment relationship ends in particular when:
- The patient expressly wishes to end treatment
- The patient does not attend a follow-up for more than 6 months
- The patient continues treatment independently with another doctor
- Medical reasons speak against continuing therapy
Upon termination, final documentation is provided. Already paid and unrendered services are refunded. We assume no liability for therapy continuation after treatment with Swiss TRT ends.
10. Cancellation and Withdrawal
You may cancel a booked consultation free of charge up to 24 hours before the scheduled appointment. For later cancellations or no-shows, the full fee applies.
Already rendered medical services (conducted consultations, prepared reports) cannot be revoked.
11. Data Protection
The processing of your personal data is carried out in accordance with our Privacy Policy and in compliance with the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG). Health data is specially protected and used only for the provision of our services.
12. Liability
Swiss TRT (SANERXPERTS GmbH) is not liable for the medical advice and treatment provided by the referred doctors. Medical liability is governed by statutory provisions and lies with the respective treating doctor.
Our liability for slight negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law. This applies in particular to damages arising from the use of information provided on the website.
The information provided on the website is for general educational purposes only and does not replace medical advice. In medical emergencies, dial 144.
13. Intellectual Property
All content of the website swiss-trt.ch (texts, images, graphics, logos, design) is protected by copyright and is the property of SANERXPERTS GmbH or the respective rights holders. Reproduction or use without prior written permission is not permitted.
14. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
Swiss law applies exclusively, excluding conflict of laws and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). Place of jurisdiction is Rapperswil-Jona (SG), Switzerland, to the extent legally permissible.
15. Severability Clause
Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision.
16. Changes
Swiss TRT reserves the right to change these GTC at any time. Changes are published on the website and take effect upon publication. Existing patients will be informed of significant changes by email.
